New Orleans Hornets vs New Jersey Nets: Look for Hornets To Win Big at Home

The New Jersey Nets will look for their first three-game winning streak in nearly two years when they take on the New Orleans Hornets tonight at New Orleans Arena. The Nets beat Atlanta at home on Sunday 89-82, and then last night went on the road and beat the Memphis Grizzlies 101-94 for just their third road win of the season. New Jersey has now won three of their last four since losing eight in a row.

As for the Hornets, things haven't been going so well lately. New Orleans has lost two straight, and are just 5-11 since starting the season 11-1. The Hornets, however, are playing much better at home this season, as they are 11-3 in front of their home crowd. Our NBA spreads have the Hornets favored by 8.5 points over the Nets at home.

The Nets are getting some real nice play out of Brook Lopez and Kris Humphries of late. Lopez had 26 points and six rebounds against the Grizzlies last night, and has scored at least 20 points in five of his last eight games. Humphries had 12 points and 11 rebounds last night, and its the third time in the last four games that he has put up those exact stats.
