New Orleans Hornets Contact the Philadelphia 76ers About Andre Iguodala

According to Chris Broussard of ESPN, the New Orleans Hornets have contacted the Philadelphia 76ers about a possible swap of Peja Stojakovic and Andre Iguodala.

Apparently the Hornets, who are perfect on the season, are in search of another talented wing player to put alongside Chris Paul in New Orleans. They seem eager to use Stojakovic's soon to be expiring contract to acquire a serviceable wing player to compliment their star point guard.

The thing is that the Philadelphia 76ers are in no rush to deal Iguodala, especially not for just an expiring contract. Doug Collins is clearly all about winning. That was quite evident when you noticed his exuberant celebration following the team's win over New York. That fact leads me to believe that Collins and the Sixers are only going to consider dealing Iguodala if they get back players that can help them win immediately.

Therefore, I thought about a possible deal that would benefit the Hornets and Sixers and that would include Iguodala and Stojakovic. It seems that a third team may need to be involved.
