New Jersey Nets Win Again: Sorry, Nets Fans

The Nets got a disheartening win over the Bulls tonight.  That's their second win in their last three contests.  Bummer, isn't it?

For the first time in years, the Nets were putting together a great campaign.  They started off the season with a big old zero in one of the win-loss columns and looked like they could be that team that could maintain that zero after 82 games.  But then came Friday night, December 4.

The Nets squared off against the Bobcats at the Izod Center.  Your average fan would think, "They wouldn't halt this incredible run in front of their home fans."  Well, your average fan was wrong.  The Nets let one get away and almost lost once again, but the inferior team showed why they scored the lesser of the two point totals.

Fast forward two days to Sunday.  The Nets bounce back and drop their 19th to the rival New York Knicks.  This match-up was tailor-made to keep the Nets on a win streak.  The Knicks boasted 15 losses coming into the contest, and had just won two out of three to add fuel to the fire.  But the Nets showed the Metropolitan are what earned them their previous ...
