New Jersey Nets Loss Equals Devin Harris’ Gain

The Nets run of bad luck continued Tuesday night as they managed to lose again, falling to the third overall pick, leaving new owner Mikhail Prokhorov to shake his head in disgust. While the team may be disappointed by the bounce of the ball, Rod Thorn and company luckily have a John Wall replacement: Devin Harris.

 

Enter the morning after and nobody could be happier than Devin Harris, as he almost gets a second chance with the team. The pressure of Wall is now thrown on Gilbert Arena’s shoulders.

 

The good news could continue if the Nets choose to hire Avery Johnson as their new head coach. Harris and Johnson both took the Dallas Mavericks to their last Finals appearance.
