Nerlens Noel Injury: Updates on 76ers Star’s Eye and Return

Philadelphia 76ers power forward Nerlens Noel suffered a left eye corneal abrasion against the Toronto Raptors in the third quarter on Sunday, and he would not return.

Noel Taken to Hospital  Sunday, Dec. 13 Head coach Brett Brown is unsure if Noel can fly back with the team on Sunday night after being taken to the hospital, according to James Herbert of CBS Sports.

Noel took an elbow to the face from Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry and retreated back to the locker room. The Philadelphia Daily News' Bob Cooney said he saw Noel in the hallways and noted he looked "very woozy."

He's coming off an excellent rookie season that saw him average 9.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game and mark himself as a difference-maker defensively and on the boards.
