With my last article about why Chris Paul should become a Cavalier, come next year, why not write an article about why LeBron should be a Hornet come next year?

The Hornets have a new billionaire owner, and new coach Monty Williams, the Hornets will be going in a new direction, and what better direction is that, than adding one of the best players in the league, LeBron James?

The Hornets are extremely over the salary cap with the draft and free agency just around the corner. If the Cavaliers are going to give up LeBron this year, why not take on a gazillion contracts that will be done by next season and use that money to rebuild with a pretty good free-agency cast of their own: Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Caron Butler, Yao Ming, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony, Zach Randolph, Jason Richardson, and Jamaal Crawford just to name a few.

LeBron could head to the Hornets for the expiring contracts of Peja Stojokovic, Darius Songalia and Morris Peterson. It allows them to give the Cavs some minutes and some points for the 2010-11 season, then about $25 million off the books. And already getting Shaq off this year.
