NBA Trade Rumors: Would Rudy Fernandez Thrive On the Boston Celtics?

First, let me just state that this is all my speculation and none of this has been confirmed by any parties. That said, Portland Trail Blazers' guard, Rudy Fernandez would be a perfect fit in Boston. 

Fernandez, 25, is a very talented shooter that can come off the bench and bring some "instant offense." He averaged Eight PPG last season with the Blazers, and he could make a major impact in Boston. 

If Fernandez were to come to Boston, he'd fit in very well. He would be a strong scorer coming off the bench and would fit in nicely with Nate Robinson and Glen "Big Baby" Davis. If that were to happen, looking around the league, I don't see another bench that is that talented. 

Now, let's talk numbers. Fernandez is due to make about one million dollars over next season and then has a team option of a little more than two million for the next year. Right off the bat, I love that contract. It's a very team friendly one that is extremely cheap for the production you're getting. 

But, the major question is, what would Boston have to give up for Fernandez?
