Ricky Rubio will finally make his long awaited Timberwolves debut in 2011.

After giving his word to the team that he will join the NBA ranks next season, it seems that GM David Kahn's crazy, yet masterful, plan is finally coming to fruition.

Yes, the Wolves still stink this season and a large part of that has to do with Kahn's personnel moves, but the general manager doesn't get nearly the recognition that he deserves.

After bringing in Michael Beasley for three cents on the dollar and readily believing in a (finally) blossoming Darko Milicic, the Timberwolves are just a couple of moves away from really looking like a legitimate franchise for the first time since they traded Kevin Garnett.

With the news that Rubio will be coming into town, the team is said to be shopping youngster Jonny Flynn. While the Syracuse product didn't exactly blow anyone away last season, he provided solid play, averaging 13.5 ppg, 2.4 rebs, and 4.4 assists. However, Luke Ridnour has emerged as a very solid backup and Flynn could bring back much more in a trade than the veteran Ridnour, which is why he's currently being dangled.
