NBA Trade Rumors: Will Carmelo Anthony be traded soon, and if so, to who?
There has recently been speculation that Carmelo Anthony might wind up in New York with the Knicks, or in Charlotte with Michael Jordan's Bobcats.
On the Knicks side, there has been speculation that anyone from Eddy Curry to Wilson Chandler to Anthony Randolph to Timofey Mozgov being traded.
On the Bobcats side, there's speculation Boris Diaw and Gerald Wallace could find themselves moved in favor of Carmelo.
The Nuggets seem to have spent the most talking with the Knicks and the Bobcats.
A league source apparently feels New York is the ideal situation for 'Melo (Sorry, New Jersey Nets fans).
"That's where he wants to be, not Jersey. But Michael Jordan is pushing to get him, too, and save the Bobcats' season," a league source with knowledge of the trade discussions told ESPN.com on Friday night.
Danilo Galinari and Landry Fields reportedly could be added by the Knicks to sweeten the pot.
Nevertheless, a Carmelo Anthony-Amar'e Stoudemire combo would definitely turn some heads in New York.
