It may have seemed like an easy decision for LeBron James to team up with a couple superstars in South Beach, but for several reasons, LeBron made the situation tougher for him and he has altered the NBA landscape for years to come.

The new trio in Miami has shifted the powers in the league without playing a game.

LeBron polarized himself with one simple statement and his legacy will never be the same.

He already said this Heat team will win multiple championships, and it’s gotten to the point where if the Heat win only one ring, this project will be considered a failure.

LeBron’s contemporaries and predecessors have displayed mixed reactions and many are questioning the implications of his actions.

Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan have come out publicly and said they are against the league’s elite teaming up.
