NBA Trade Rumors: Best Destinations for Memphis Grizzlies’ Rudy Gay

Memphis is wondering if they are a better team without Rudy Gay following its opening round loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Apparently we may find out sooner rather than later. 

According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld, Brooklyn among others is on the list that are interested in his services. Here are some of the best destinations for Gay if he is indeed traded. 

Golden State Warriors

Chances he lands: 15 percent

If Golden State wants to be relevant again, they must pursue Gay. After trading Monta Ellis, they need to reload another scoring threat.



Gay could be that option if the price is right.

Just think of the potential lineup of Andrew Bogut (if he can stay healthy), Stephen Curry and Rudy Gay. 

They wouldn't win championships, but they would at least compete in a difficult Western Conference. 

Orlando Magic

Chances he lands: 20 percent 

Would Rudy Gay be enough to keep disgruntled superstar Dwight Howard in Orlando? Gay can score 20 points, grab six rebounds and shoot 46 percent from the floor.
