Second Team

Lance Stephenson —IND: 14.8 ppg | 2.3 rpg | 1.5 apg
While injuries limited him to essentially three games, he still looked great in his first professional action. Highly touted out of high school, but not as much out of college, Stephenson has a lot of naysayers to prove wrong, and that is what he did in Orlando, looking like one of the best players there. He’s a great scorer (shot 73%) and showed flashes of being a solid distributor, which he’ll need to keep improving as he might be looking at minutes at point guard for the Pacers this season.

Landry Fields —NY: 15.6 ppg | 4.8 rpg | 1.2 apg
One of the biggest surprises of the Summer League, as many didn’t project him to even be drafted. He’s not going to blow anyone away with his athleticism, but he’s able to make up for that with his incredibly high basketball IQ. He has a knack for putting himself in the right position at the right time and just knows how and when to make plays. He went a long way this past week in earning himself a roster spot and potentially some minutes this upcoming season.
