NBA Rumors: Will Tracy McGrady Go To The Chicago Bulls?

According to the Associated Press, the Chicago Bulls could sign free agent shooting guard/small forward, Tracy McGrady.

According to ESPNchicago.com, Chi-Town is taking an evaluation of T-Mac and a close look at the veteran swingman.

McGrady is coming off of a try-out with the Los Angeles Clippers and a physical. The 31-year-old, who is well past his prime, tweeted that his interests are in the Clippers, Lakers, Bulls, and Heat. But he also said that could change.

The Bulls are not 100 percent in to pursue McGrady, but they could need him.

McGrady would have originally gone to the Chicago Bulls back in the 1997 NBA Draft, as Jerry Krause had big interest in the guy. Selected no. 9 by the Toronto Raptors, the Bulls had to trade Scottie Pippen in order to get him.

Michael Jordan said he wanted to keep Pippen instead, and so they did. T-Mac says he respected the decision.

Now, McGrady, has yet to win a championship. Sure, if he goes to the Bulls he could have a good little run and be their starting shooting guard, but if McGrady really wants to win, to me, he has to consider the Lakers and Heat as h ...
