NBA Rumors: Shaq Unlikely to Land in Boston

Listen guys, you can pretty much cross this rumor off of your books. The future Hall of Fame center, Shaquille O'Neal, will not be suiting up in green this season.

Boston Celtics' President of Basketball Operations, Danny Ainge, has came out publicly and stated that he hasn't even spoken to the 7'1" center.

"I don't think that Shaquille is that much of a possibility," stated Ainge on Boston's WEEI Sports Radio.

I'd say I'm pretty happy about this news. Personally, I think Shaq is a great person and was the best modern-day center in the NBA, but he has too many miles on his legs. He's getting old, and I wouldn't want to add another "old man, big man" with Kevin Garnett.
