Here are my top five early season rookie rankings, starting at No. 5 with...

5. Tyreke Evans, Sacramento Kings
Evans may move up a few spots in the upcoming weeks if Kevin Martin is forced to miss a significant period of time because of a hairline fracture in his left wrist. It will be up to Evans to try and carry the Kings, but he will have to improve upon his 36 percent shooting from the field.

*Breaking News: Martin to miss at least eight weeks after choosing to have surgery on his left wrist.


4. Terrence Williams, New Jersey Nets
The man who did it all at Louisville may have to do it all in New Jersey, at least for the moment. With both Devin Harris and Yi Jianlian sidelined for an extended period of time, coach Lawrence Frank will need more production from his rookie swingman. Williams didn't respond too well Friday night against the Sixers, scoring just six points on 3-for-10 shooting. He did record nine assists though.


3. Jonny Flynn, Minnesota Timberwolves
