According to the Associated Press, the Orlando Magic have re-signed free-agent point guard Jason Williams. It was according to a person that was familiar with the situation.

The person was anonymous on the situation and said the contract is still processing and close to being finalized and completed as Williams is re-officially a Magic.

He had six points and about four assists as a back-up to Jameer Nelson as Orlando cruised to the Eastern Conference Finals, before getting suddenly surprised and hauled by the Boston Celtics.

Williams also started 18 games in for Nelson's injuries. The Magic did well with Williams at starter, going 14-4 in those 18 games.

The 34-year-old is the third point guard on the roster and will be working with newly-acquired former New York Knicks' guard Chris Duhon and, of course, Nelson.

Williams being signed gives the Magic 13 players on their roster.
