NBA Preseason: Minnesota Timberwolves Player Power Rankings

The Minnesota Timberwolves are 2-1 for the 2012 preseason, and we've been able to get a quick look at the lineup—both returning players and new faces. From rookie to Alexey Shved to seasoned guard Luke Ridnour to Brandon Roy coming out of retirement, this squad has a large spectrum of athletes. Certain players, such as Dante Cunningham and Lou Amundson, have spent a few years in the NBA and are looking for a second chance with the Timberwolves. Only time will tell if these players will make an impact with the team or if they will last.Veterans Brandon Roy and Andrei Kirilenko are making their comeback to the NBA by joining the Wolves this season. Although they may be risks, both players look to have strong seasons and will also provide some additional veteran leadership.Minnesota's top players, Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio and Nikola Pekovic are returning for the 2012-13 season, and fans can expect huge performances out of these three again.
