NBA Podcast: 2013-14 Milwaukee Bucks Season Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks' roster is certainly different for 2013-14, but does that mean it's any better than before?

With a seemingly never-ending mandate to "just stay competitive," the Bucks were active throughout the summer. Trading Brandon Jennings for Brandon Knight and ostensibly swapping Monta Ellis with O.J. Mayo via free agency will certainly cut down on the attitude headaches. Yet, how much upside does either player have left?

Larry Sanders and John Henson appear to have bright futures, and one might eventually add rookie tongue-twister Giannis Antetokounmpo to that mix, but the roster still feels devoid of stars. Why then did they round out the crew with "luxury items" (i.e. minute sappers) like Carlos Delfino, Caron Butler, Zaza Pachulia and Gary Neal?

The Bucks may actually be more competitive this year with Larry Drew at the helm, but they will probably matter even less in a much-tougher-than-recently Eastern Conference.
