The Boston Celtics entered their first round matchup with the Miami Heat with the feeling of death looming over the Celtics' faithful.

There was a fear that "The Big Three" were dying, and that their time as one of the game's elite teams was fading away with their team's voice, Kevin Garnett's, health.

But despite being unable to provide the offensive spark that he once was a guarantee to give night in and night out, KG proved that he still is extremely valuable to the Celtics.

He provided the moment that I believe is the turning point in the Celtics season on Saturday night.

During a scuffle after Quentin Richardson pushed Paul Pierce out of bounds, Kevin Garnett showed that the Celtics will not back down and will not be pushed around. During the scuffle, there is videotape of Garnett hitting Richardson with elbows. The Celtics were winning the game at that point, but after the game you could hear and see the signs that the Celtics have awoken.
