NBA Free Agents: Thanks Chris Bosh, But Toronto Raptors Will Keep Self Respect

Chris Bosh has been the face of the Raptors franchise for 7 years now. Bosh always came to play, never complained and played his hardest. He made Raptors basketball entertaining to watch at the least. I will always remember him, and I would like to thank him for his work in Toronto. 

But Toronto has also made him the player he is today. And with all this free agency hoopla, Bosh has never mentioned the fact of re-signing with his former team. It would be a common courtesy to at least give the team some hope after all they have done for you, no? I guess not Bosh.

So, Bosh now expects us to give him a max contract and trade him for, basically junk. Are you kidding me?

Why would we want Luol Deng again? I don't think Luol Deng is worth going over the cap for. Michael Beasley? No thanks.

Bryan Colangelo is staying strong saying that a sign and trade isn't happening unless it's something that will actually help the Raptors.

Would it really make sense to take on all that salary in giving Bosh a max deal just to get a decent role player in return? I don't think so.
