With a deep class of high-profile free agents, this NBA offseason could feature a lot of drama.

Some of the best players in the league are expected to be on the open market, and while their own teams will do whatever it takes to re-sign them, there will also be a lot of competition for each player. Whether it comes down to money, championship possibility, fit or something else, every top pursuit remains worth monitoring.

Although these players likely haven't made decisions about their own futures yet, here are the latest predictions and rumors for some of the biggest names available.

 

Kevin Durant

Assuming LeBron James remains with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kevin Durant will be the clear top option on the free-agent market. The former MVP and seven-time All-Star is a true difference-maker.
