NBA Free Agency Rumors: LeBron James Held Second Meeting With New York Knicks

LeBron James to the New York Knicks? What seemed unlikely on Thursday, now could become a reality after all.

On Saturday, Amare Stoudemire agreed to a max contract offer from the Knicks.

So what happened? A second meeting with LeBron James.

According to Knicks beat writer Frank Isola via twitter: " The NY Daily News has learned that Knicks got a second meeting with LeBron's reps on Saturday in Cleveland. According to Knicks official, MSG prez Scott O'Neil and Glen Grunwald , VP of basketball ops, were sent to Ohio after Amar'e agreed to deal."

Wow, and the free agency rumors just got crazier.

In all honesty, I don't know who to believe.

But it does seem like a second meeting went down, which in the end makes sense.

LeBron James could have told the Knicks front office this, "Get me an agreement from another star and we'll talk again."

Also keep in mind the rumors involving Tony Parker, and a possible three team deal.

Would LeBron accept less money to bring in another star? Who knows.

But what we do know is this, the two years of losing and freeing up ...
