NBA Free Agency: Plan B Proposals for New Jersey Nets and Chicago Bulls

Now that the free agency pool is a bit more dried up with the signing of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to the Miami Heat, teams like the Chicago Bulls and New Jersey Nets are left with a ton of cap room and not a lot to do with it.

Sure, LeBron is still out there, but will he go to either of those situations without too much help signing with along with him? We'll see on Thursday when he has an hour special on ESPN...

Chicago Bulls Plan B

It was looking pretty good for the Bulls that they could have been able to sign both Wade and Bosh, but now that they left for Miami, Chicago is left with only four players under contract.

Still, the Bulls have a lot of cap space left and have a pretty good plan B to go to.

First of all, Chicago needs to address the post position. Yes, they have an improving Joakim Noah, but they still need a starting power forward or center, so they should look towards Carlos Boozer or David Lee.

Boozer has been relatively quiet this offseason in comparison to James, Bosh, and Wade, but he is still one of the top five guys available in free agency.
