NBA Free Agency: Is Shaq Going To Be the Biggest Boston Celtic?

Free Agency has continued to flow and the interest in Shaquille O'Neal has wavered in and out.

According to Fanhouse, Shaq has shown continued interest in joining the C's. This might not come as much of a surprise considering that Shaq realistically is looking for a chance to win another ring. That was almost unquestionably not going to happen in New Jersey or Atlanta this coming season.

It looks like Tracy McGrady is most likely now going to sign with the Chicago Bulls leaving an extra roster spot open for the taking.

Is Rasheed Wallace going to end up playing for the Celtics? It sounded like he was done, but with Rasheed, you are never fully sure of what is going to be happening in the near future.

As stated before there still have to be lingering concerns about the recovery of Kendrick Perkins' knee. With these questions in the air, O'Neal might not be such a bad option.

The thinking in picking up Shaq might be that he can cause fouls on defensive big men still at this point given his horrendous Free Throw percentage and give up his own fouls on big men like Dwight Howard, Joakim Noah and Chris Bosh among the elites in ...
