NBA Free Agency: Chicago Bulls Add CJ Watson To The Mix

Multiple sources are reporting that the Bulls have signed point guard CJ Watson to be the backup to Derrick Rose.

Rumor is that is will be a sign and trade with the Golden State Warriors that will have the Bulls sending a second round pick in next year's draft. The pick will be the worst pick of the Bulls' multiple second round picks.

Watson has signed a three year $10.2 million deal.

With the addition of Watson,26, the Bulls had another young player to their already young core. The Bulls currently don't have a player under contract over the age of 30. Kyle Korver will turn 30 in March this upcoming season.

Watson, 6'2, point guard who went undrafted out of college has spent the last three seasons with the Golden State Warriors. After signing a ten day contract with the Warriors during the 2007-2008 season he earned a second and remained with the team for the rest of the season appearing in 32 games. Watson has improved in all three seasons improving across the board in all the major stats (points, rebounds, steals and assists). He averaged 10.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2.8 assists while playing 27.5 minutes a night last ...
