The Lakers have just signed Matt Barnes to a 2-Year $3.6 million contract. This adds his defensive intensity and toughness to the already star-studded championship team. Ratliff was also signed for a year, adding his defensive ability on the bench to back-up Andrew Bynum. I'm so excited for the Lakers this season. It sounds like they are adding slasher defenders to Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, and Matt Barnes. This looks to add a more dominant defensive front-court to an already dominant back-court.Begin Slideshow
