NBA Finals Game 4: Bench Carries Celtics to 96-89 Victory

The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers 96-89 last night.

Most of the work in the fourth quarter was done by Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Nate Robinson. They dominated the Lakers when both of them came in.

Davis had 18 points and Robinson added 12 points in the Celtics' 36-point fourth quarter.

Like I said before, Glen Davis should be in the starting lineup over Kendrick Perkins.

Glen Davis gives a huge energy boost to the Celtics when he comes in. Davis can score if he wants to, Perkins on the other hand is a defensive minded player.

Then, Nate Robinson does almost the exact same as Davis when he enters the game. He is an even better pure scorer then Glen Davis. While he played for the New York Knicks, he was a great scoring threat for them.

I say Robinson and Rondo are the best 1-2 punch at point guard in the NBA. The reason is they can both take over a game at any time for the Boston Celtics.

Do I expect Robinson and Davis to perform in the future as they did in Game 4? I think they can if they get some good minutes.

So, don't count out Nate Robinson and Glen "Big Baby" Davis to h ...
