NBA Finals 2010: Paul Pierce’s, Ray Allen’s, and Kevin Garnett’s Last Chance

This could be the end of the Big Three's story-book ride in Boston.  They came to Boston to win a championship and did just that two years ago today. 

June 17th, 2008, the Boston Celtics were crowned NBA Champions.  Imagine if this story could have another happy ending against the evil Lakers.

Not to mention 617 is a Boston area code.

Coincidental?  Or maybe a sign that these three veterans have enough left in the tank to go into the Staples Center and win one of the most hyped up games in the last 15 years of NBA History.

These chances don't come often.  Each and every player better raise their game to another level and do whatever it takes to be part of the winning squad.

Kevin Garnett is aging and, with his surgically repaired right knee, he has been inconsistent at times this season.  Then again, he is 34 years old and is not the same high flying dunker he was coming out of high school.

Paul Pierce will be 33 in October.  He was the NBA Finals MVP in 2008 and, with a remarkable game tonight that leads Boston to a victory, there's no reason he isn't the MVP of this team aga ...
