NBA Fantasy Waiver Wire (Dec. 30th): Kirk Hinrich Starting Again

There have been a number of injuries and roster changes in the NBA over the first couple of months, and as we're approaching the New Year, it's time to take a look at a few guys on the waiver wire who deserve some love.

Here are five guys that are available in over 50 percent of all leagues who can help you in one way or another immediately, or should be targeted in the coming weeks:

Luke Ridnour, PG, Milwaukee Bucks (Available in 73 percent of all leagues)

Ridnour isn't playing his traditional point guard role this season, as rookie Brandon Jennings has permanently taken over his former starting spot. However, Ridnour has been used frequently as a go-to scoring option, specifically at the end of games, and has maintained excellent shooting percentages.

He is shooting better than 51 percent from the field on the year, while averaging more than 11 points and nearly four assists per game. He has battles with inconsistency, but Ridnour is a solid source of points, and has been shooting great percentages over the last month.

He could make for a fine utility player if your team is in need of a point guard who can do it all.
