NBA Draft Rumors: Al Jefferson Relocating to Sacramento?

In the days leading up to the NBA Draft, there have been a lot of trade rumors. Many involve the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are reportedly targeting Anthony Randolph. Those rumors, however, died when the Warriors announced that they have no intentions of trading Anthony Randolph.

That started new rumors, this time involving the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

People are speculating that the Kings might send their number five pick in the draft to Minnesota for Al Jefferson.

This will enable the Timberwolves to get both Wesley Johnson and DeMarcus Cousins. 

It will give the Kings a great low post scorer to compliment Tyreke Evans.

However, Al Jefferson is a liability on defense and they already have Carl Landry.

Landry isn't the type of scorer that Jefferson is. He doesn't have fancy post moves like Jefferson but he hustles a lot and gets tons of points in that way.

If this trade were to go down, Al Jefferson would likely start alongside Samuel Dalembert. Landry would likely be asked to come off the bench as the sixth man.
