NBA Draft Rumors 2010: Does DeMarcus Cousins Secretly Want To Play For Detroit?

After the DeMarcus Cousins workout in New Jersey, he claimed that his only two other workouts other than that had been one for the Sacramento Kings and another for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Other reports, apparently those from Andy Katz and Draftexpress, say that Cousins has had two secret workouts for the Pistons and hopes to be drafted by them this Thursday in the draft.

People have said that these allegations are false by using DeMarcus's Twitter account as proof, by a Twitter that he posted saying "ME nor ANYBODY close to me made those comments." Which side is telling the truth and which side is playing mind games before the draft?

What I don't quite understand is why Cousins would rather go play in Detroit than in Sacramento. The Eastern Conference is clearly the easier conference to play in and yet Detroit had only two more wins than Sac did last season.

Sacramento also possesses a huge factor that the Pistons do not, and that is Tyreke Evans. Why would anyone go play for a team where the only good YOUNG talent is Rodney Stuckey. NO offense to Stuckey, but Tyreke is three times the player that you will ever be and he has onl ...
