NBA Draft 2013: Latest Word on Top College Players

With the 2013 NBA draft less than a week away, here are the most recent developments regarding some of the draft’s top prospects.

 

Nerlens Noel

After seeming to fall out of Cleveland’s favor as the No. 1 pick, Noel still had a visit with the Cavaliers. According to Pro Basketball Draft’s Twitter account, it was a good-but-not-great session:



Noel may have made a positive impression, but it wasn’t enough to offset fears of his injury and size. With recent interest in fellow center Alex Len, it’s tough to see the Cavs taking Noel first on draft day.

 

Otto Porter/Anthony Bennett

It seems like the Washington Wizards have narrowed their list to two.

According to ESPN’s Chad Ford, the Wizards are trying to decide between Georgetown’s Otto Porter and UNLV's Anthony Bennett. Porter is an immediate contributor, but Bennett has a higher ceiling.
