The Los Angeles Clippers tipped off their preseason slate Friday against the Denver Nuggets, but they're set to head north of the border for an exhibition clash with the Toronto Raptors on Sunday evening.
However, the Raptors won't be playing within the friendly confines of the Air Canada Centre when they host the Clippers. Rather, the scene will shift to Rogers Arena in Vancouver as the 2015 edition of the NBA Canada Series gets underway.
"As the country’s lone NBA team, we are honored to again be part of the NBA Canada Series," Toronto general manager Masai Ujiri said in a press release. "The crowds last season in Vancouver and Montreal were enthusiastic and passionate about the NBA. We look forward to the same excitement for the Raptors in those two cities and our nation’s capital."
