The last time the Los Angeles Clippers visited the Oklahoma City Thunder, they lost 120-108 as six-point road underdogs March 9. The previous meeting saw Oklahoma City blow a 22-point lead in a 103-98 loss at Los Angeles as a 1.5-point road favorite a week earlier after winning 100-99 as two-point chalk there December 21.

The Clippers can earn a split of the regular-season series Thursday with an upset of the Thunder as consensus 8.5-point road dogs at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

While it is possible that these teams could square off again in the Western Conference Finals, that scenario seems highly unlikely considering they would each have to take out the top two seeds, the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs.

Oklahoma City is entrenched in the No. 3 spot, while Los Angeles will likely finish No. 4 in the West and earn home-court advantage in a potential first-round matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. Regardless, they both need to start gearing up for the postseason, starting with Thursday's matchup at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
