The NBA announced Tuesday the league will hold a year-end awards show on TNT on June 26.

In the past, the NBA handed out individual honors on separate days throughout the playoffs, so the awards show will streamline the process.

In the news release, the league announced celebrities and former players and coaches will take part in the show, with the presenters and full list of awards to be revealed at a later date.

As Bleacher Report's Howard Beck tweeted, the event adds to an already busy part of the NBA calendar:

This year's NBA awards show will be a nice way to cap off the 2016-17 season, saluting both the NBA champions as well as the league's best players.
