Mo Williams has been a part of many highs and lows during his 13-year NBA career, but the veteran guard's time in the league could be coming to an end.

Report: Williams Considering Retirement Saturday, Aug. 27 According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, Williams is considering retirement at the age of 33. 

Williams came back to Cleveland last summer, signing a two-year deal with the Cavaliers in July. He appeared in 41 games with the team during the 2015-16 season and played just under five minutes in the decisive Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. 

In June, Williams exercised the $2.2 million player option in his contract for next season. 

However, Vardon did note a potential loophole the Cavaliers can work around with Williams' salary. The NBA's stretch deadline is on August 31, meaning if a player is waived before that date, a team can spread out the money he is owed over a number of years. That would lower the luxury-tax penalties the Cavaliers have already incurred.
