Minnesota Timberwolves Should Fully Expect Rubio in a Wolves Uniform

Ricky Rubio was taken in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

It has been stated over and over by numerous writers, fans, and experts that Rubio will never play for the Timberwolves.

I can understand initially, but to this day, there are many people that still believe that Rubio will never play in a Wolves uniform, and that could just be farther from the truth providing David Kahn, the president of basketball operations, does not trade his rights.

There are so many reasons as to why people expect Rubio to never play for the Wolves. Those reasons include a small city, cold weather, immaturity issues, and system play.

But I've not one time heard the point guard say he would not play with the Wolves.

Over the last season, Kahn has stated many times that he has no doubt in his mind that Rubio will play starting the 2011-12 season, and it appears that decision has proved to work in the Wolves' favor.

Not only did Rubio fulfill one of his many dreams of grasping a Euroleague title, but he was the leader of that championship-caliber team at the age of 19.
