Minnesota Timberwolves Looking To Possibly Move Jonny Flynn, Get OJ Mayo

The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to corner the market of the 2008 draft class.

There has been chatter on the internet that the Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to trade for OJ Mayo.

Mayo, the third pick in the 2008 NBA Entry Draft was, ironically, originally drafted by the Timberwolves. He was traded later that night for the fifth pick in that same draft, Kevin Love.

The Timberwolves have been said to have gotten confirmation that Ricky Rubio will be bought out in the summer, and will make his debut for the Timberwolves starting in 2011-2012 season. The thought of adding a true SG, and a player with great outside range is appealing to the Wolves.

Along with Kevin Love, Mayo would join the number two overall pick in the 08 class in Michael Beasley. Beasley was obtained for pennies on the dollar after the Miami Heat moved him to Minnesota for two second round draft picks.

Jonny Flynn also may be on the move. With the alleged confirmation from Ricky Rubio, Flynn can be a valuable trade asset. There have been seven teams with interest in Flynn, and it will be up to David Kahn to find the best deal for the second year P ...
