Even at the age of 52, Michael Jordan is still very confident in his basketball skills.
During a recent interview with France's L'Equipe, MJ was asked if he still plays one-on-one with Hornets players, and his answer was vintage Jordan (transcribed by CBS Sports' Ananth Pandian):
L'Equipe: Do you think you can play against some of your guys right now? Do you sometimes do that or not? Could you win on one-on-ones against them?
Jordan: I'm pretty sure I can, so I don't want to do that and demolish their confidence. So I stay away from them, I let them think they're good...but I'm too old to do that anyway.
And before you question His Airness' current skills, remember back to 2013 when Michael Kidd-Gilchrist said he played then 50-year-old MJ and lost.
See that, Hornets players. Michael is just doing your confidence a favor.
