We have ripped LeBron for his questionable off-court character moves since “The Decision,” so now it’s time to keep the same standard for all athletes.
So that means not even the (perhaps) greatest player ever, Michael Jordan, is off-limits, especially for his recent ripping of LeBron.
Nothing can take away from what Jordan accomplished on the court, but he is not doing himself any justice with his words off the court these days.
If you have been paying attention to his life after basketball, then you might come to the conclusion Jordan is no more than just a bitter old man.
He has tried defiantly to put his mark on the game since his retirement, but failed in his comeback with the Wizards and his role in the front office.
It’s OK, Mike, you don’t have to keep proving yourself to us. We will still remember you for what you did on the court, but maybe you should just sit back and let the memory of your game speak for itself.
