Michael Finley Sees Celtic Green in His Future

Danny Ainge has tried to find some offensive balance for his beleaguered team.  Their mid-quarter offensive drought has taken away from the team’s defensive efforts.  Nate Robinson has been a willing student of 'ubuntu' and has re-energized the team.

Ainge knows other teams are going to start making defensive adjustments to slow down Robinson.  He also knows Tony Allen and Marquis Daniels are not going to suddenly morph into offensive juggernauts.  Therefore, when the San Antonio Spurs released Michael Finley, the Celtics decided to join in the fray for his services.

The Utah Jazz and the Boston Celtics were among the many suitors for the services of Finley.  In the end, he chose to join the lads in green.  The deal happened rather quickly, leading many to speculate that there was some under-handed shenanigans going on. 

Celtic nation hopes that the Finley move pays off, because in their eyes the Celtics may have lost another step.
