Raptors 96, Heat 92—Final (OT)

Despite a dreadful offensive performance, the Toronto Raptors survived the Miami Heat 96-92 in overtime on Thursday night. Toronto evened the Eastern Conference Semifinals at one win apiece.

Jonas Valanciunas went 7-of-9 for 15 points and carried the Raptors late in the fourth quarter, but the struggling backcourt of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry kept firing away. The duo combined to shoot 16-of-46 from the floor.

Nevertheless, Toronto managed a 10-6 advantage during the extra frame to secure the victory. DeMarre Carroll registered a team-best 21 points and four steals.

Miami's Goran Dragic netted 20 points, including a game-tying three that forced overtime for the second straight outing. The Heat committed 21 turnovers, which led to 24 points for the Raptors.
