Anthony Davis had 30 points and 11 rebounds and the New Orleans Pelicans pulled away from the Miami Heat in the second half for a 105-95 win on Saturday night.
The victory ended the Pelicans' five-game losing streak to the Heat.
Miami, which was without Dwyane Wade (rest), got off to a good start, jumping out to a 10-2 lead, but sloppy ball-handling and poor outside shooting ended up doing Erik Spoelstra's club in the rest of the way.
The Heat turned the ball over eight times in the first quarter alone and ended up with 16 for the game, playing a role in 21 New Orleans fast break points.
Davis was unstoppable in this one, going 13-of-22 from the floor and dominating whichever Miami big man defended him.
Tyreke Evans also put forth a solid performance, tallying 16 points and eight assists.
LeBron James led the Heat with 25 points and finished two rebounds and one dime shy of a triple-double. Mario Chalmers added 19 and Michael Beasley contributed 16 off the bench.
The Heat shot only 8-of-26 from beyond the arc, and Ray Allen, who had been hot as of late, went only 2-of-9 from deep.
