With seven seconds remaining and the Brooklyn Nets down four, Jarrett Jack blew a wide-open layup, effectively destroying his team's comeback chances against the Miami Heat. With the 95-91 win, Miami moves to 12-13 on the season, while the Nets sink to 10-13.

The Heat pulled ahead prior to a game-delay caused by a leaking Barclays Center roof, and—despite a handful of separate runs by their opponent—never let it slip away. 

Chris Bosh was absent with a calf injury that will keep him sidelined for quite some time, it appears, but the Heat rode Dwyane Wade's 28 points—12 of which came in the opening few minutes—to the eventual victory.

Luol Deng played Robin to Wade's Batman, turning in a balanced stat-line that included 18 points and six rebounds. Shawne Williams and Mario Chalmers added 10 apiece, while Shabazz Napier—who quieted more than one Brooklyn run with a momentum-swinging three—finished with 11.
