Miami Heat Ready To Potentially Break an NBA Record Tonight

The Miami Heat will attempt to bring their win streak to a season-high 10 games tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This time, there is no extra security needed.

Miami’s current nine-game winning streak by 10+ points is one shy of the NBA record as the Heat and Cavaliers meet for the second of four match-ups this season. Last season, Cleveland swept the season series 3-0.

The Heat previously beat the Cavaliers earlier this season on Dec. 2, 118-90, in Cleveland. The Miami Heat are 43-38 all-time versus the Cavaliers in the regular season, and 27-13 in games played in Miami. The Heat are 16-25 in games played in Cleveland.

LeBron James has found his way in Miami and leads the Heat in both assists (188) and steals (37) this season.

Chris Bosh has averaged 11.0 rebs (66 total) in his last six games, including four double doubles in that span.

On a betting perspective the Heat have been “on fire” covering the last eight spreads. They have won nine straight games by double digits and are now favorite by 16.5 points.
