Miami Heat Hold First Practice: Big Three’s Journey Begins

Today, the Miami Heat held their first official practice with LeBron James and Chris Bosh on the roster.  This is the most any of us have heard about an NBA practice since Allen Iverson uttered his now famous line, "We talkin' 'bout practice?!?"  

Yes Allen, we are talking about practice.  This is the most anticipated season in NBA history and people simply can't wait any longer for the regular season.  What can we do to satisfy the insatiable hunger we all have for some roundball?  Let's start by following ESPN's coverage of Miami's training camp.

Josh Elliott, Jon Barry, and Jalen Rose will be providing the always "razor-sharp" analysis we've come to expect from the worldwide leader in sports.  Did any of these experts say anything we haven't heard for the last two and a half months?  In a word, no.

What is noteworthy about all this, is the couple minutes of actual practice footage we were able to see.  The entire practice revolved around defense.  There was a lot of time spent on a drill that is known as "defensive cutthroat."
