Miami Heat Favored by 8.5 in Rematch with the New York Knicks

The New York Knicks will look to avenge an earlier loss to the Miami Heat when the two teams square off at the AmericanAirlines Arena tonight. Miami went into New York and crushed the Knicks 113-91 just a couple of weeks ago, and come into the game tonight off their biggest win of the season, as they beat up on the Los Angeles Lakers 96-80 on Christmas Day. Miami has now won 14 of their last 15 games.

The Knicks also got a win on Christmas, as they topped the Chicago Bulls 103-95 for their second straight win. Our NBA spreads indicate the oddsmakers aren't giving New York much of a chance in this one, as the Heat are favored by 8.5-points over the Knicks at home.

LeBron James stole the show at Madison Square Garden in the first meeting between these two teams. James recorded a triple-double with 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. James also had a triple-double against the Lakers on Saturday, with 27 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds. James has been unbelievable of late, averaging 29 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists over his last five games.
