Continuing to raise awareness for mental-health disorders, Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace will once again raffle off something he earned while playing in the NBA.

The player formerly known as Ron Artest previously held a raffle for his 2010 championship ring to raise money for the cause. Now, he's at it again.

World Peace will auction off the 2003-04 NBA Defensive Player of the Year trophy he won with the Indiana Pacers. He was also named to the NBA's All-Defensive first-team squad that season, making it again in the 2005-06 season.

The trophy is a symbol of the best season of Artest's career. He made his lone All-Star appearance that year, won the Defensive Player of the Year award and was a member of the All-NBA third team.

World Peace is willing to part with his trophy if it means raising awareness and money for a cause he believes in. The 35-year-old basketball player founded Xcel University in 2007 and continues to do what he can to be an advocate for mental-health awareness.
