The Golden State Warriors have made history.

Behind 46 points from Stephen Curry, the Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 124-105, at Oracle Arena on Wednesday night to finish the season with 73 wins, breaking the single-season record set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.

Curry made 10 three-pointers, ending the season with 402. He shot 15-of-24 from the floor overall in 30 minutes.

Curry made six of his triples in the first quarter.

Klay Thompson added 16 points, draining four treys of his own.

This was never really much of a contest, with the Warriors taking a 37-23 lead after one.

Golden State made 20 three-pointers as a team and shot 52.9 percent from the field overall.

Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with 24 points. Lance Stephenson added 22.

The Warriors will open up the first round of the playoffs against the Houston Rockets, the team they beat in last year's Western Conference Finals.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will face the San Antonio Spurs.
