Mavericks vs. Thunder: Twitter Reacts to Thrilling Ending of Game 2

The Dallas Mavericks are heading home very much alive after a thrilling 85-84 win Monday over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of the teams' first-round NBA playoffs series.

Mavs guard Raymond Felton missed two free throws with 7.1 seconds remaining, which would've made it a three-point game.

After Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each missed a layup at the other end, Thunder big man Steven Adams' potential game-winning putback at the buzzer was ruled to have come too late, and Dallas stole home-court advantage from Oklahoma City 48 hours after losing Game 1 by 38 points.



Twitter was abuzz after the shocking win, starting with Mavs Moneyball:



Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons isn't playing in the series due to an injury, but he made sure to congratulate his teammates:



Parsons also made sure to congratulate Dallas' two rookies, forward Justin Anderson and center Salah Mejri, for their impact on the game. The Mavs' first-round pick was grateful for his teammate's kind words:
